Daniel Clevenger

July 22, 1956 - August 20, 2026
In Memorial

Daniel Clevenger lived a life built on many roads, countless adventures, and a knack for straight, honest talk—with a side of humor always close by. To Daniel, life was meant to be lived this way: freely, honestly, and with a willingness to see what might be waiting just beyond the next road.

He loved motorcycles, long nights, open roads, and the freedom to explore. His life became a coast-to-coast map of stops, stories, and adventures, and everywhere he went, he shared a little piece of himself—his passion, his humor, and his love for the people around him.

But no matter how far the road carried him, Daniel always felt his heart pulling him back to the beauty of East Tennessee—the mountains, rivers, winding roads, and the familiar places that held a special place in his heart.

One of Daniel’s greatest gifts was the time and love he gave his grandchildren. He gave them a lifetime of stories and, perhaps most importantly, a thirst to wonder what might lie just beyond the borders we set for ourselves. Through his adventures, he taught them to look for beauty in everyday life, to remain curious, and to never be afraid to explore.

Daniel will be remembered for the stories he told, the roads he traveled, the laughter he shared, and the love he gave so freely. His adventures may have come to an end here, but the memories he created will continue with everyone who loved him.

Daniel is survived by his parents, his two daughters, and his son, along with his beloved grandchildren and family who will carry his memory and stories forward.

His daughter, Lacey,  and his grandchildren, Eli and Molly, will miss him dearly. There will be adventures left unshared, roads left unexplored, and stories left untold—but they will carry his spirit with them wherever their own roads may lead.

Until we meet again on that great highway in the sky, Daniel.
