Marguerite Escobedo Zazpe

Marguerite Escobedo Zazpe, born on February 2, 1937, in Riverton, Wyoming, passed away peacefully at her home in Phoenix, Arizona, on September 4, 2026, at 2:20 a.m.

She is reunited in Heaven with her beloved son, Danny Chapa, who preceded her in death. Marguerite leaves behind her devoted husband, Lorenzo Zazpe Urtasun; her loving daughters, Rosalinda Chapa Adams and Debbie Chapa Primeau; six granddaughters; and six great-granddaughters.

Marguerite will forever be remembered as the beautiful, strong, and wonderfully spicy woman she was. She was deeply loved, and her strength, spirit, and unforgettable presence will live on through the generations of women she leaves behind.

She will be missed more than words can say and loved always.
