Batease, Wendy

Wendy Batease (née Monfred), aged 64, passed away on September 9, 2024, in Sun City, Arizona. She was born on December 8, 1959, in Baltimore, Maryland.

Wendy is survived by her daughter, Ashley Dodson; son-in-law, Allan Dodson; granddaughters, Charlotte and Ella Dodson; brother, Rick Monfred; sister-in-law, Leslie Monfred; stepsisters, Celia Goldman and Sarra Golden; lifelong friends Betsy and Patrick Simpson; and her treasured dog, Archie, who will be cared for by her dear friend, Laurie Clugston. Her passing was preceded by her mother and stepfather, Lois and Rodney Reed, as well as her father and stepmother, Jay and Marsha Monfred.

Wendy will be missed and remembered for her bold sense of humor, a fondness for drama (both on and off screen) and a great love for animals. She has been reunited with her beloved dog, Buster.

Wendy is finally at peace.
