Kevin Scott Krieger

March 3, 1956 - August 19, 2026

Kevin Scott Krieger, 70, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on August 19, 2026.

He was born on March 3, 1956, in Chicago, Illinois to Roselyn (née Klassen) and Joseph Krieger, who preceded him in death. Kevin is survived by his wife, Patricia Krieger; his children, Jason (Erin), Eric (Paula), Adam, and Michelle, along with their mother, Carol Krieger; his grandson, Christian Risk; and his brother, David (Pamela) Krieger.

Born and raised in Chicago, Kevin graduated from William Howard Taft High School before entering the workforce. His jobs throughout the years ranged from delivery driving to owning a hobby shop and a computer store, to supporting IT infrastructure for companies large and small. Kevin loved to spend his time learning; learning how things worked and tinkering, especially with electronics, are hobbies he never lost, regardless of where life brought him. He was an avid tech geek whose life revolved around computers, a passion he passed on to his children. His love of cars (especially Corvettes), Halloween, movies (such as A Christmas Story, Patton, Rocky Horror Picture Show, or anything by Mel Brooks), history, and spending time with his kids at shooting ranges are just some of the many interests he will be remembered for. Kevin loved to laugh and make others laugh, and often did so just with his own infectious laughter. His weird but wonderful sense of humor is something his children will always cherish.

Kevin will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

A family celebration of Kevin’s life will be held at a later date.
