LaSpina, Kensley Kristin

January 5, 1992 - December 30, 2025

Kensley Kristin LaSpina, age 33, was born in Barrington, Illinois, on January 5, 1992, and gained her wings on December 30, 2025, just short of her 34th birthday. Though her time with us was far too brief, the love she gave and the light she shared will be cherished forever.

Kensley was a truly sweet and loving soul, whose beautiful smile could brighten any room and whose heart was full of love and kindness. She had a rare gift for making everyone around her feel seen, cared for, and special. Thoughtful and compassionate, she was always ready to offer a helping hand or a comforting word.

Kensley discovered a passion for welding, taking pride in her craft and dreaming of a future filled with creativity and purpose. She also loved singing and painting, finding joy and inspiration in expressing herself through music and art. Kensley approached life with determination, hope, and a quiet joy that touched all who knew her.

Kensley had a deep love for animals, especially her beloved dog, Lilly, who was her loyal companion and constant source of comfort and joy. Their bond brought happiness and warmth to everyone who met them.

She is survived by her loving mother, Pamela Young-LaSpina of Anna, Illinois; her father, Anthony LaSpina of Mesa, Arizona; her sisters, Jacqueline LaSpina-Howard of Anna, Illinois and Marisa LaSpina of Phoenix, Arizona; her brother, Michael LaSpina (Sierra) of Phoenix, Arizona; her special friend, Rick Worrell of Apache Junction, Arizona; and several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, along with many cousins and friends, all of whom treasured her dearly.

Kensley was preceded in death by her grandparents, Forrest Dale and Valerie Young, Jack and Catherine LaSpina, and her cousins, Eric Lingle and Scotty LaSpina, who now welcome her with open arms.

A celebration of Kensley’s life will be held at a later date.

Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in the joy Kensley brought into our lives. Her gentle spirit, laughter, creativity, and love will live on in every memory, every story shared, and every heart she touched. Kensley may have left this world too soon, but the warmth of her soul and the love she shared will never fade.

Hey Kinsley, it’s Christina I will forever miss our small little moments together especially when you took me to the park with Lily even when I was feeling down you were there for me when I wasn’t feeling good. You asked me what was wrong and I said my stomach hurt so you took him you told my mom and she took me to the doctors and I couldn’t be more grateful for that. I will always remember the time where you really made me laugh when you took me to the park and she started wiggling on the ground.
