McClellan II, Charles Clifford

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Charles Clifford McClellan ll on September 15, 2024 at the age of 41. Charles was born on June 5, 1983 in Oklahoma to Charles C. McClellan and Cheryl (Barker) Shaw.

Charles was a wild spirit who traveled all over the country and enjoyed living free. Over the course of his life, Charles met several close friends whom he considered family. He was a loving protector and would often make sacrifices for the well-being of others.   Charles also had a huge passion for animals especially his dogs Quinn and MaryJane who were always at his side.

Charles was loved for his comedic personality and a smile that could light even the darkest rooms.  He was extremely intelligent and always quick-witted. Charles attended ITT Technical Institute and held a variety of positions in the tech industry.

Charles is preceded in death by his mother, Cheryl (Barker) Shaw

Survived by: father Charles McClellan; daughters Alexis Sjostrom, Anjelique Swanger; son’s D’Von Sjostrom, Charles McClellan III; granddaughter Nikole Guedesse; his sisters Chandra McClellan, Virginia Shaw, Jenesis Davies; and several other close friends and family members.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for you to make donations to the Arizona Pet Project in Charles’ name, 7227 S Central Ave, Phoenix, 85042.

A private Celebration of Life will be held for close friends and family in Spring of 2025.
