Kelly Ann (Suliot) Turner was born January 8th, 1970, in St. Joseph’s Hospital in Flint, Michigan. She grew up in Sterling Heights and then moved to Scottsdale, AZ at the age of 10. In her youth, she loved ballet, gymnastics, drawing, and acting in plays. She graduated from Saguaro HS in 1989; then later graduated as a fighting Artichoke from Scottsdale Community College in 2013, with a degree in Interior Design. Kelly was incredibly talented in her field, and had a knack for knowing if a photo frame was even half an inch off. She ran KTI Design group for a handful of years, before exploring the Real Estate market. Wanting to go back to her first passion, she went back to interior design, and worked with a handful of design companies and furniture stores throughout Scottsdale.
Despite her professional pursuits, her most important ambition and goal in life was to be a mother to her two children, Carley (24) and Payton (21). She always tried to be the “cool mom,” and she succeeded. She was goofy, vibrant, and loving in every way. She wrote notes on their lunchbox napkins in elementary school, and attended every skating competition and volleyball tournament. She was never more proud of anything than she was of her kids. She loved taking vacations to Maui and Santa Monica, as she always found solace and relaxation on the beach. She loved taking ski trips as well, and enjoyed multiple trips to Deer Valley with her girls.
Some of her favorite things to do besides hang out with her girls, were to hike Camelback Mountain, make mashed potatoes at Thanksgiving and Christmas, maintain her beautiful garden when she lived in Michigan, watch reality TV, decorate for holidays, play pinball, and go to hot yoga.
Kelly is survived by her two children (Carley and Payton), her ex-husband (Steve Turner), her mother and father (Kathy and Bob Suliot), and her brother (Micheal Suliot, Shannon Suliot). She passed away on September 29, 2024. She may be away from this life, but her strength, fight, laugh and smile will live on in all those who knew and loved her.

I wish Carley, Payton, Steve and the rest of Kelly’s family & friends strength and healing during this difficult time. Hold on to the memories with her, cherish them always and realize how lucky we all were to have known Kelly at some point & to some capacity in our lives.
She worked for my parents corporate office at 18 and several years later they ran into her at Marco Polo in Scottsdale when they were joined by their friend Steve Turner 😍 They were honored to have introduced them & we had never seen Kelly so happy…that was until she had children of course. She was a wonderful mother & her love for her daughters showed in everything she did as she was beyond proud of them both.
Kelly, you will be missed by many but I hope you are now resting easy in peace.

My dear friend this comes as such sad news. We were so happy and free when we were young. Sneaking out the tank and going to desert parties. Having slumber parties at the Cockerill’s. We went to Bon Jovy together. Kelly when I met you that first day outside my house I will never forget. You were the most beautiful girl I had ever seen. It’s true! And the more I got to know you the more beautiful you became. The mornings were always such a rush for all of us. You pulling up in the car and all of us flying from windows and Susie running down the street half dressed because you had the rest of her outfit for the day. Then we were off like bats out of hell. Cigarettes dangling from our mouth’s. We were the cool one alright. And you’re driving. My god woman, I hope that improved!? So much fun Kelly. “ hold on to your hats girl she’s coming around”. Squealing wheels. Ha ha.
This is my friend Kelly your guys mom. I loved her. She was a big part of my childhood. We shared a lot of good time. It’s hard when you get older and start to have your own families. You loose touch but you don’t loose the memories and the love ❤️
